Part 2 - Royal Souvenirs
Souvenirs were a natural extension of toy soldiers, and reflect the occasions and activity of the time. Royal Coronations were the most spectacular of events, and merited souvenirs. Royal busts were a favourite possibility, By 1937, an extensive range could be contemplated. As more people took up tourism and visited London later in the twentieth century, so the souvenir trade grew to match.
