Newton" stamped on front free endpaper.
Loosely-inserted is an ORIGINAL PEN-AND-INK AND WATERCOLOUR DESIGN BY JESSIE M. KING (170 x 90mm.) for a bookplate for Alice M. Newton (see illustration).
