The brass movement with platform lever escapement, the three armed one minute tourbillon carriage with bimetallic compensation balance, finely pierced and engraved scroll and foliage decorated bridge, en passant hour and half hour striking, repeating and alarm with two hammers on the gong on the backplate, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, aperture for phases of the moon combined with lunar calendar, three subsidiary dials indicating day, alarm and date, all surrounded by a plain gilt brass plate, the bronze case with corinthian columns, hinged handle, glazed sides, back, door and top, repeating mechanism operated by pressing the plunger in the top, dial and movement signed
