Engraved frontispiece by Thomas Langley after Batty Langley, 99 plates, 2½ pages of publisher's advertisements (some spotting and soiling, a few ink stains, neat tear to one plate). Modern half calf. The third edition of 'one of the most popular of Langley's many similar pocket guides for builders': RIBA, 1737 (note); Harris 434.
