8° (152 x 100mm). Printer's device (not in Vaccaro) on title, ornamental initials opening Lauro's dedication to Francesco Chimenti and address to the reader, 5-leaf table. (Tiny worming in quires F and G, some light browning or spotting, a few scribbles on last page.) Contemporary Venetian brown goatskin, blind fillet frame enclosing gilt panel on sides with central shield and border composed of short arabesque stamps, the front cover stamped "F CHI", blindstamped spine, edges gauffered and gilt (front hinge split, lacking 4 ties). Provenance: Francesco Chimenti (binding); Giuseppe Martini, bookseller (collation note on front pastedown).
