(Frontispiece plate and first few leaves detached in volume I, hinges broken in both volumes, bookplates removed from front pastedowns, occasional mainly light spotting and browning, a few plates bound out-of-sequence.) Original cloth gilt (spine detached from volume I, joints splitting, rather worn).
FIRST EDITION of Loudon's Ornamental Perennials, one of a highly popular series which influenced a generation of Victorian gardeners.
