Contemporary full red turkey, the covers with single fillet panel, the spine simply ruled in gilt, board edges and turn-ins gilt, edges gilt. Second Edition, PRESENTATION COPY, SIGNED BY LUNARDI ON THE HALF TITLE. Provenance: William Adams, bound in on guard before first blank is autograph note by Lunardi in Italian signed on the address leaf ("Lunardi"), presenting the book to him and arranging for a meeting in Chelsea; John Trotter Brockett (armorial bookplate); Marquis of Crewe (armorial bookplate).
