Richard and others; 2 tinted hunting scenes by Richard; 1 tinted genre scene by Richard; 21 hand-coloured botanical plates of fruit by Richard and others; 2 large tinted views of Port Louis; 1 uncoloured plan of the island of Réunion). (All but two of the views spotted, or slightly spotted, the three final fruit plates spotted, the 21st plate with a 45mm. tear affecting the title, the 45th and 46th plates with image bound-in at inner margin.) 20th-century green half cloth, titled in gilt on spine.
VARY RARE: published monthly according to Toussaint and Adolphe and here including a very fine group of hand-coloured images of fruit that are grown in Mauritius, together with an excellent series of topographical views of the island. Toussaint & Adolphe Bibliography of Mauritius 115.
