8o (212 x 133 mm). (Some minor spotting.) Contemporary brown half calf, marbled boards, speckled edges (spine perishing, upper cover detached). Provenance: Lord Gosford (signature on front pastedown); Princeton University Library (bookplate, embossed stamp on title-page).
Sale catalogue to a portion of the library of Edmond Malone. When Malone died in 1812, he bequeathed his papers and his library to his brother, Lord Sunderlin, who in turn presented them to the Bodleian in 1822. This sale is apparently a further portion of his books, which included a collection of tracts in 76 volumes that is now also in the Bodleian. De Ricci, pp. 62-64; Pollard, p. 145.
