Half title, photogravure frontispiece, title printed in red and black, half tone illustrations, a few full-page, folding lithograped map printed in colours. (Map lightly spotted, stains at fold.) Original russet pictorial cloth gilt, top edges gilt. (Upper inner hinges cracked.) Modern slipcase.
