PRINTED ON VELLUM. 8° (232 x 145mm). Half-title, title printed in red and black with woodcut vignette after Morin. Etched additional title and 24 plates by Cadart et Luce after A.R. Martial, woodcut head- and tail-pieces after Morin, woodcut printer's device on 16/2v. (Very light discoloration or marking on some leaves.) Contemporary crushed crimson morocco bound by Cuzin and finished by Marius Michel, the covers with triple gilt fillet borders, the spines gilt in 6 compartments divided by raised bands, titled in 2 compartments, the others decorated with central fleurons surrounded by foliate and dot tools within double fillet frames, crushed blue morocco doublures elaborately gilt with dentelles in the style of Derome le jeune, gilt edges (a few light mildew spots on doublures).
