aquatint and drypoint in colours, 1896-7, on Vanderlay laid paper with the Shield and Adriaan Roggz watermarks, the third (final) state, signed in pencil, from the edition of approximately 45, with wide margins, pale light-, mount and time staining, a flattened diagonal printing crease (35 mm.) at the upper left plate corner (backed with thin Japon), occasional pale foxing and traces of stray green printing ink in the margins and on the reverse, a repaired horizontal tear (20 mm.) at the centre right edge, otherwise in good condition, framed
