Reduced copies of this first Valgrisi set were made for Gabriel Cotier's Lyons edition of Antoine DuPinet's French translation of Mattioli, 1561, and are mentioned in the privilege granted to Cotier in 1560" (Mortimer, p. 429).
Provenance: Lodovicus Marcolinus, early signature on title -- Antonio Rusca, early signature on title -- Robert de Belder.
