LIMITED EDITION, number 14 of 35 copies of this late issue from the remaining stock pf plates. The sheets are very fresh and clean and free from offsetting which often affects the earlier issues of the plates. The set was issued with two octavo text volumes which are not present here. A VERY RARE ISSUE: the last copy of this issue sold at auction according to American Book Prices Current was the Estelle Doheny set, sold 1 February 1988, lot 242. Not in Bennett or Howes. (2)
