The fitted bodice is asymmetrically shirred, creating a soft V-neckline, held with ruffled off-the-shoulder sleeves and a very full ball skirt. Together with a black multi-layered crinolin.
This dress was white when worn in 1988, and later dyed black for Ms. Griffith.
