7 volumes, 4o (276 x 191 mm). 698 plates, some double-page, tissue guards with descriptive text. (Vol. 4 text for plate 4 supplied in xerox.) Contemporary red half morocco, original wrappers bound in.
LIMITED EDITION, number 13 of 100 sets signed by Meunier. The collotype plates show either one binding or the spines of several bindings. An important source for Meunier's leather and cuir-ciselé bindings executed between 1889 and 1905. The plates have the names of the collectors for whom the binding was executed. Octave Uzanne provides the introduction in the first volume. (7)
