Arabic manuscript on paper, 21ll. of very small black naskh between gold clouds, gold roundels between verses, gold margins between black rules, ruled outer margin, divisions of text marked marginally, sura headings in red on gold cartouches in illuminated panels, gold and polychrome illuminated three opening and two final bifolios, colophon dated 1225, red lacquer binding painted with flowering sprays in black and gold border, red lacquer doublures with gold scrolling palmette sprays - 9.8 x 6cm.
