    Moment musicale, a fan, the paper leaf painted with three elegantly dressed gentlemen and a lady making music in a richly decorated room, a book of music on the floor inscribed 'Sonata del Seynard(?), a couple reclining on a sofa on the left and two ladies listening in the background. Two servants setting a table on the right, bottles are cooling in a silver wine cooler and dogs are playing in the foreground. The scene is flanked by flowers and music trophies, the verso painted with flowers and garlands, the ivory sticks pierced, carved and gilt with scrolls, flowers, birds and couples - 10 1/2in (27cm), French, circa 1775
