The following is a description as it appeared in the Sphedre: 'The lightships are back in position around the coasts of Britain: A scene on the East Coast as the fishing trawlers set out for the hunting-grounds, with friendly lights to guide them after the dark years of the war. On the fishing grounds around Britain, the men in the trawlers and other little ships are getting their safety lights back. The lighthsips were withdrawn during the war years, owing to the hostility of the Germans; They have now been sent out again. Although the war is over, it has been as black as pitch, without a single light to guide the fishermen out at sea. The area being swept of mines by the Navy for the drifters is not more than 40 miles wide. There are many submerged wrecks, and difficulties of navigation without lights is of more concern to the trawlers and other fishing vessels than the danger of an odd mine or two. The lightship in this drawing has already been stationed between Yarmouth and the Dogger bank, one of the ........ fishing trawlers on the English East Coast.'
