    Kathmandu The Capital of Nepal, Calcutta: Johnston & Hoffman, 1918 With thirty-five gelatin silver prints including several panoramic format, image sizes 2¾ x 7¾ in., other sizes approx. 4¼ x 6 in., letterpress descriptions by Lt.-Col. S.F. Bayley, Resident in Nepal on paper guards, several inscribed in pencil on paper guards, printed dedication to Lieutenant-General his Excellency Maharaja Sir Chandra Shumshere Jung, Bahadur Rana...Prime Minister and Marshal of Nepal whose portrait forms the frontispiece, printed title page with photographer's and publishers' credit, half black morocco, titled and ruled in gilt on front cover, sm. oblong 4to.
