Signs of the Blessings, poetry in praise of the Prophet Muhammad, Arabic manuscript on polished cream, blue, pink and peach paper, 282ff. with 11ll. of elegant black maghribi in blue and gold ruled margins, important words in gold outlined in black, 14pp. of very finely illuminated geometric and calligraphic designs in gold, blue, orange and green, followed by a double-page stylised footprint of the Prophet and then stylised images of the mosques of Mecca and Medina and an illuminated double-page opening, numerous other panels of similar illumination at divisions in the text, paper inserts to protect illumination, geometric stamped and gilded red morocco binding with flap -- Folio 4 3/8 x 1 3/8in. (11 x 11cm.)
