Sale catalogue containing 5,835 lots of Murr's library, known today mainly as an art historian, the author of the first bibliography of books on painting, sculpture and engraving. He was also a mediocre poet. The preliminary matter includes a biography by Joh. Ferdinand Roth which, calls the most important source for Murr's life. Not in Blogie; Folter 561.
