Vzorval' is a miscellany of poems by Kruchenykh incorporating two important early lithographs by Malevich. Entitled 'Prayer' and 'Simultaneous death of a Man in an Aeroplane and on the Railroad' these two works are not based on recorded oils or watercolours.
Prints are independent works of which the present copy has two hand-coloured areas on the front cover which may or may not be contemporary. The book also does not incorporate the usual list of futurist publications. However, as is so often the case with futurist books, the number and configuration of the pages can vary. For example, Compton records that Vzorval' consists of 29 pages and yet copies with more pages are known to exist
