gilt three quarter plate movement signed Nicole Nielsen 14 Soho Square London, No.12474, with English lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance with blued overcoil hairspring, the typical steel split seconds chronograph work mounted on the top plate, screwed gold chatons, repeating on two gongs by operating the slide in the band, the Willis drum dial with Roman numerals, outer five-minute divisions, subsidiary dials indicating seconds and 60 minute register, blued steel spade hands, two centre seconds hands operated by two buttons in the band, plain polished case(No.12474), theft proof swivel bow, London marks for 1911 and case maker's initals RN, hinged cuvette, diameter 54mm.
