Fourth or fifth edition of a text first printed in Esslingen ca. 1476-1478. The type in which this book was printed was assigned by Proctor to Johann Otmar, Reutlingen's second printer, but BMC reassigns this edition and the group to which it belongs to Greyff (cf. BMC II, p. xvii). The presence of the initial blank in this copy makes it clear that the first two quires are regular gatherings in eight; hence, the collation given above differs from the incorrect collation found in BMC and Polain.
