Oblong 4° (195 x 265mm). 2 folding engraved maps, 33 engraved plates (one map strengthened on verso, some mainly marginal spotting and staining). Later patterned boards with morocco title label stamped in gilt mounted on upper cover (extremities rubbed). Provenance: Bulow (armorial bookplate) -- C. E. Rappaport, Roma (bookseller's label).
