On Her Majesty's Secret Service, 1969
An important collection of approximately 8700 black and white contact prints, the shots taken by stills' photographer George Whitear during the production of the 1969 United Artists/Eon film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, showing the shooting of the majority of scenes throughout the film, taken on location in the Swiss Alps, at Piz Gloria, in Lisbon, Portugal and in London; featuring all the principle actors/characters, director Peter Hunt and co-producers Cubby Broccoli and Harry Saltzman on the set, George Lazenby, Diana Rigg, Telly Savalas, Ilse Steppat, Yuri Borienko and other members of the cast in make-up, joking and relaxing between takes, rehearsals of fight sequences, a number of Blofeld's "angels of death" posing for publicity portraits and shots of the chase sequence in London which was deleted from the final cut, all either -- 2¼x2¼in. (5.7x5.7cm.) or 1x1¼in. (2.5x3.1cm.) (a lot)
