Opisanie V Litsakh Torzhestva, Proiskhodivshago V 1626 Godu Fevralla 5, Pri Brakosochetanii Gosudaria I Velikago Kniazia Mikhaila Feodorovicha [Description of the company assembled on 5th February 1626 for the marriage of the Tsar and great Prince Michael Fedorovich with Tsaritsa Evdokiia Lukianovna of the family Streshnev], Moscow: Platon Beketov, 1810. 4, title printed within a typographic ornamental border, 65 full-page engraved illustrations (lacks pp. 5-6, but supplied in manuscript, some illustrations faded and marked), contemporary calf (worn).
Account of the wedding of the first Romanov Tsar published from a manuscript found in the archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and belonging to the Russian palaeographer A. F. Malinovskii. Vinet 775 refers to the work as being very useful to all interested in history and iconography for the particulars of the ceremonies in Moscow, and for the costumes of the court and clergy. The manuscript was edited by Beketov (1761-1836), one of the foremost printers of the day, whose activities were interrupted by Napoleon's invasion and the subsequent fire in Moscow which closed the press and destroyed much of Beketov's stock. Consequently the work is extremely scarce. Sopikov 7757; Gennadi 113; Obol'ianinov 1883; Burtsev 1190; Smirnov-Sokol'skii Biblioteka 522; Lipperheide Sk2.
