Pablo Picasso Buste d'Homme, plate IV from La Suite des Saltimbanques (B. 4; Ba. 5 a) etching, 1905, on laid paper, signed in pencil, a fine, richly inked impression, the burr particularly fresh and prominent, one of a small number of impressions before steelfacing printed by Delâtre, (there were later editions of 250 on Van Gelder and 27 or 29 on Japon), with wide margins, deckle edges at right and left, an area of pale staining at the upper right corner of the subject, some light-staining, paper discoloration and some light soiling verso, remains of hinges at the upper and lower right sheet corners verso, framed P. 120 x 93 mm., S. 223 x 150 mm.
