Maya Widmaier-Picasso has kindly confirmed that this work was signed and dedicated by Picasso to Herbert List. She has issued a certificate which is sold with the work.
Herbert List met Picasso in Paris in 1944. The photographer portrayed the artist during a visit to his atelier, and Picasso in return dedicated and offered to List the present drawing.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis
