    This watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1946 and its subsequent sale on March 16th, 1948.

    Patek Philippe began production of reference 1526 in 1941. Only 210 examples were made.

    A similar example is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 2nd edition, p. 282.
