Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the movement in 1919. It has been cased and finished for the Observatory Contest in 1928 and was sold on 26 December 1935.
The movements of Patek Philippe's watches participating at Observatory Timing Contests were numbered twice.
According to the registers of the Geneva Observatory, the present watch was presented at the 14 March 1928 contest and achieved the third price with 727 points. It had been prepared and adjusted by J. Golay-Audemars, a renowned precision adjuster.
This table clock features the, for this model, rare sweep centre second but also its original walnut presentation case, still in very good condition.
