Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming the production of the present watch in 1957 and its subsequent sale on 23 April 1958. Furthermore delivered with a detached 18K gold Gübelin fishbone bracelet.
Production of reference 2499 spans over a period of more than three decades and collectors divide it into four series.
The present watch is from the second series, with round chronograph buttons, applied baton numerals and tachometer scale, widely acknowledged as one of the most charismatic and thought after versions. The desireability of this watch is further enhanced by the fact that it has never been offered at auction before and comes directly from a descendant of the original owner.
