It also states that the Geneva Observatory rating certificate was obtained on 30 July 1914. Furthermore delivered with a rosewood presentation box containing a spare mainspring.
The movements of Patek Philippe's watches participating at Observatory Timing Contests were numbered twice.
According to the Bulletin de Marche, this watch was presented to the First Class contest for pocket and deck chronometers on 14 November 1916. It was adjusted and prepared by the renowned precision adjuster, Mr. C. Batifolier.
