Furthermore delivered with the original fitted presentation box and a gilt brass wall stand acquired by the first owner from Patek Philippe in 1968.
To the best of our knowledge, only six examples of a Patek Philippe photoelectric clock with perpetual calendar are known to this day.
The last example of a reference 503 perpetual calendar solar clock was sold in these rooms on 18 May 2004, lot 72, SFr. 68,115.00.
