It also states that the Geneva Observatory rating certificate was obtained on 7 January 1921. Furthermore delivered with the original sales invoice and receipts for the amount of US$ 320, dated June 1926, original envelopes and presentation box numbered 177'515.
The movements of Patek Philippe's watches participating at Observatory Timing Contests were numbered twice.
According to the Bulletin de Marche, this watch was presented at the First Class contest for pocket and deck chronometers on 5 January 1921. It was adjusted and prepared by the renowned precision adjuster, Mr. C. Batifolier.
