Calibre 12-400, 17-jewel mechanical movement adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions with monometallic compensation balance, swan-neck micrometer adjustment to the regulator, fausses côtes decorations, the movement stamped with the Poinçon de Genève, silvered dial with applied faceted bâton markers, subsidiary seconds and Dauphine hands, circular case with snap on back and fancy lugs, movement, dial and case signed.

Production of Ref:1491 began in 1940 and was divided into two types: subisdiary seconds utilising calibre 12-120 and centre-seconds utilising calibre 12-SC.
