British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-1914: Keohane's photograph album including 28 photographs and contact prints taken on the expedition, including portraits of Keohane, Wilson and others, scenes of the Western Party and at Cape Evans, the majority captioned by Keohane, together a loosely inserted manuscript chart on treated silk of Ross Island in black, blue and red inks, with scale bar and compass rose showing true north and noting magnetic variations, and a double page manuscript chart on lined paper in pencil and blue and red crayon, marking slopes of Mt Erebus, Vane Hill and hut, stores and other features, titled on verso 'Sketch of Cape Evans', with [?] monogram, one leaf of bifolium pasted onto lower pastedown of the album (clean tear not affecting image). 2° (228 x 304mm), half red roan over moiré cloth, closed with ribbon, leather pen loop on lower board (somewhat rubbed and marked, ribbon split).
