Signed Paul Garnier, Horloger du Roi, No. 446, circa 1830.
Frosted gilt Lepine calibre movement jewelled to the third with plain brass three arm balance, cylinder escapement and two hammers striking on gongs, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel poker hands, circular case with hinged covers and gold cuvette, heavily chased bezel, milled band, the back cover with engine turned and swag decoration within a chased surround, repeat slide in the band, cuvette signed.
