Author of verse and entertainments, he enjoyed ecclesiastical preferment owing to Passerini's connections to the Medici and was elected Bishop of Assisi in 1526. His ownership of the present volume so soon after publication localises the binding to Perugia. EDIT on-line, CNCE 23862.
