An identical robe to the one in this lot can be observed in the scene where Simone Legree [Dyan Connon] takes Clouseau back to her apartment during a rainstorm, in the belief that he has saved her from the assasins her ex-lover Philippe Douvier [Robert Webber] has hired to kill her. She gives Clouseau the robe to wear over his wet clothing, which he is still wearing when they visit Augustus Balls' Emporium for disguises for their trip to Hong Kong to uncover Douvier's mafia connections.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis
