Travellers on a path by a cliff in a landscape

The attribution has been kindly confirmed by Dr H.U. Beck on the basis of a transparency, in a letter dated 16 March 2000. He dates the work to the 1640's and compares it with the drawing, signed and dated 1647, in the Museum der Bildende Kýnste, Leipzig (H.U. Beck, Pieter Molyn Katalog der Handzeichnungen, 1998, no.196).
