Second edition of Pius II's public letter to Mehmed II, attempting to convert the Turkish ruler to Christianity. It is the second of three closely related, undated editions printed by Zel which share format, collation and number of lines. CIBN has recently identified a supposed fourth edition (Goff P-699) as the second edition with minor variants; the present copy agrees with the British Library copy on 1/2r, line 3 (conpossuit), which is not cited by CIBN.
