Woodcut device on title of Badius' printing press, large woodcut initials (quire a misbound but all leaves present, light browning and a small waterstain at the end). Early 19th-century German boards (rubbed, rebacked and corners repaired with calf). Provenance: Georg Kloss of Frankfurt, noted bibliophile, this binding probably made for him (book-label) - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). Adams P1804.
