Engraved title and 47 maps in the text by Girolamo Porro, woodcut device on last page (small brown stain at inner margin of first 4 leaves, light thumb-soiling, some quires a little discoloured, top margins at the beginning lightly waterstained). 18th-century Italian vellum, red morocco lettering piece on spine. Provenance: G.B.L. 1675, 30 ottre (inscription on last page).
Second, and best, edition with the addition of 17 new maps. Philips 167; Sabin 64149.
