PRE-PRODUCTION MAP OF OLD ATLANTA FROM "GONE WITH THE WIND"
A mimeographed map of Old Atlanta created during the pre-production phases of "GWTW" to ensure historical accuracy. Detailing the main section of town, this piece has handwritten notations and arrows pointing to significant places from the novel including Rhett Butler's prison, Melanie's house, Aunt Pitty's house and Scarlett's route to Tara among others. A blue ink stamp in the upper right-hand corner reads Selznick International Pictures, Inc. Research Dept. 321 while text along the left-side margin notes Old Section of Atlanta, Georgia. Landmarks mentioned in "Gone with the Wind."
