Engraved approbation leaf, engraved frontispiece to supplement, 60 engraved plates by Toms after Price, supplement's title page dated 1753 (some spotting, tear to corner of title page). Contemporary sheep (rebacked, worn, repair to hinge). Provenance: A. C. Farquhar, Birmingham (owner's inscription on title, date torn). This, the fourth edition, is a reissue of the third edition (1753), with the fly-title to the Supplement still carrying the original date. Harris 710; RIBA 2615 (note).
