FIRST EDITION. An exhaustive description of the applied arts in Cairo. The work is divided into various sections, including architecture (religious, secular and military), both exterior and interior (woodwork, mosaics, flooring), furniture, textiles, ceramics and glass. Of great interest are the engravings that reproduce glass panes, fabrics, carpets, armour and the decorations that adorned the pages of the Koran. (4)
