Broadsheets (598 x 438 mm). Letterpress leaf of descriptions, hand-colored lithographed title and 24 lithographed plates, each mounted on card. (Three plates with small creases at corners.) Laid loose as issued in original cloth portfolio, gilt-lettered and decorated on upper cover (leather backstrip and corners and endpapers renewed).
A RARE COMPLETE SET of these very fine views. Each plate is mounted on card without imprint or title; the titles are provided on the separate letterpress sheet. Complete sets are VERY RARE, the last at auction according to American Book Prices Current being a copy sold at Sotheby's London, 16 May 1980.
