VAN RIJN Landscape with a Square Tower (B., Holl. 218; H. 245; BB. 50-C) etching and drypoint, 1650, on fine laid paper, without watermark, third state (of four), a very fine impression, with rich burr, printed with considerable atmospheric tone with particular effect in the foreground and displaying a profusion of vertical wiping scratches in the sky, trimmed to the slightly arched shaped platemark and very skillfully re-margined, otherwise in very good condition P. 3½ x 6¼in. (87 x 157mm.)
